The Beginning:
It all started back in the late 1990s with a young Realtor and a copy of how to use Microsoft Front Page. The first few drafts of MichianaAgent.com were quite bad, I truly wish screenshots were available at the time just to show you how bad it really was. At the time, Real Estate was just beginning to come to the internet and no MLS listings were available.
Fast forward to 2002. MichianaAgent.com was out and ND-Condos was born. My original plan was to use NDCondos.com but it turns out someone in North Dakota already had that brilliant domain. Solution... add the dash. The first iteration was simply a navy blue page with a gold sidebar published using Dreamweaver. A star was born!
The Decision:
By 2003 the website was a top choice of Notre Dame buyers trying to find student or gameday housing near campus. At the time Oak Hill Condos was about the only option so it was really more about managing the wait list. By 2010 I was trying to manage 3-4 websites and it became too much, so which ones had to go? The choice was easy, ND-Condos had the ranking and domain authority, we merge and go forward!
